Features of the Spa-N-A-Box

Your Spa-N-A-Box measures 74 inches by 74 inches and is 27 inches tall. This means you can fit in 5 adults at a push, although more realistically it’s better for 4 adults who will have lots of room to relax without feeling in any way cramped. Its size makes it great for a family, and still leaves space for several of your children’s friends as well.

The great thing about the rigid surround is that the strong support it provides helps make the Spa-N-A-Box deeper than many other inflatable spas. This means the water covers up to your shoulders, and you get more of an all-over body massage from the 127 powerful Turbo Wave air jets. The rigid panels are also strong enough for you to be able to sit on the side of the hot tub without feat of it collapsing. That also means it’s great for those who need assistance gettingt in and out of the spa.

The rigid surround panels are 2 inches thick, and they are vacuum-sealed to help insulate the hot tub and keep the water hot. Add in the thermal ground mat, the insulated inflatable lid, and the insulated cover, and you’ll find the water stays really hot overnight without you having to turn on the water heater the next day.

When you do need to heat the water, the Digital Control panel is on the side of the hot tub. The maximum temperature the heater will heat your water up to is 105F. Some people find this a little hot, however, and set the control panel to 103F instead.

The Digital Control panel also controls the water jet massage system, so there is no need to leave the luxury of the water in order to get the full benefits of your Spa-N-A-Box.

Setting up Your Spa-N-A-Box

Your Spa-N-A-Box actually comes in two boxes. It is very easy to set up, and takes less than twenty minutes. Then you fill it with water, using a garden hose, and turn on the water heater. It takes between 4 and 12 hours to heat up to the maximum of 105F, depending on the water and air temperature.

Enjoying Your Spa-N-A-Box

Once the water is at your desired temperature, simply slip into the warm water and, if you want a massage, turn on the Turbo Massage system and enjoy your all-over massage. With the Digital Control panel on the side of the tub, there’s no need to get out of the water.

You absolutely do not need to buy anything else in order to enjoy your Spa-N-A-Box. However, you might decide to add a few extras to enhance your spa experience, such as a floating drinks tray, waterproof Bluetooth speaker, or cushioned headrest.

The Homax Round 6 Person Spa is worth considering if you’re looking for a really large inflatable hot tub that doesn’t cost the earth. At 82 inches across, it’s one of the biggest portable hot tubs out there at this price. Just as the name suggests, it’s big enough to hold 6 adults in comfort, and plenty big enough for a family and a few of your children’s friends as well.

Add in the 130 air bubble jets giving a powerful massage, and the fact you can control the water temperature to your choosing at the touch of a button, and you’ve got a great entry-level model.

Be careful though! You will see this model for sale for around $1,000 on some sites, but if you shop carefully you can get it for only half that price or even less.

Setting Up Your Homax Round 6 Person Spa

The Homax 6 Person Spa is incredibly easy to set up and fill, much easier than many other models. As one reviewer put it:

“When they said set up was easy, they are correct. It is plug and play and add the water.”

To set it up, you put the insulated ground sheet in the place you want the tub located, then spread out the hot tub itself on top of the ground sheet, attach the motor and inflate. The hot tub will be inflated in a couple of minutes. Then you fill your hot tub with water through a garden hose. Once it’s full, set your desired temperature on the digital control and then turn on the heater. It will take between 8 and 24 hours to heat the water, depending on how hot the water is itself, and how warm the air temperature is.

Top Tip: Some owners fill their hot tub with hot water, so it is ready to get in straight away.

When the water is ready, slide into the hot tub and turn on the massage system. With the clip-on Digital Control Panel on the side of the spa, everything you need is to hand and you can relax in the water for as long as you want.

You will notice the temperature of the water drops a little, as you lay there, but it’s simply a matter of turning the water heater back on for a few minutes. You can do this without having to get out.

When you do get out, we recommend covering your hot tub with the zipped thermal cover. This helps keep the water hot and it keeps the water clean. If you have children, it’s also a good idea to use the digital lock to keep them safe from the temptations of the hot tub when there are no adults around.

So as we have seen, the Homax Round 6 Person Spa really is a great inflatable hot tub for anyone looking for a larger model. It has been described by different owners as ‘huge’ ‘incredibly roomy’ and ‘enormous’, and for its size it is great value.

The sides of the hot tub also have what is called an I-Beam construction. This is especially sturdy and made-to-last, and means users can sit on the sides of the spa without the spa bending or buckling.

Lay-Z-Spa Miami has an Air Jet Massage System, consisting of 120 Air Jets which send thousands of bubbles through the water. These bubbles massage and soothe tired muscles – as well as providing great fun for any children who enjoy the tub.

Some people are concerned that the massage system might be of poor quality at this price. But they lose their concerns as soon as they get into the tub and lean back against the massage system and realize just how good it is.

One reviewer even commented that her husband “laughed and thought the bubbles would be lame and weak. . . but he ate his words when he used it the first time!”
